Memorable moments

Broadcast Date: Nov. 25, 1978

It's the eve of Grey Cup weekend in Toronto. The Edmonton Eskimos are facing their favourite rivals, the Montreal Alouettes.
CBC TV reporter Terry Walker takes a look back at some of the championship's most memorable moments – including touchdowns and trips, field goals and fumbles. With a severe winter storm on the horizon, he also reviews some of the Grey Cup games made memorable by the elements themselves.

Memorable moments

• At this 1978 game, the Edmonton Eskimos played the Montreal Alouettes for their fourth time in five years. Not only did they win the game 20-13, they began what is known as the Edmonton Eskimo "dynasty," winning the Grey Cup for five consecutive years.
• Quarterback Warren Moon was named Most Valuable Player twice during the Eskimo Dynasty, from 1978-1982. He was a big part of the Eskimo's spectacular success.
