Every member of the royal family has a favourite cause, and for Prince Philip, husband to Queen Elizabeth, it's wildlife conservation. Philip is in Toronto as international president of the World Wildlife Fund, speaking and raising money for projects like the preservation of tiger habitats in India. • Prince Philip became president of the U.K. branch of the World Wildlife Fund in 1961 and international president in 1981. He held the latter post until 1996.
