Expodition: People and places at Expo 67

Broadcast Date: Aug. 10, 1967

It's hard to be in three places at once, but there are so many things happening at Expo 67 that CBC Radio's Expodition has to try. On today's show, they mark the national day of the African country of Rwanda before moving on to an interview with seminal American folk musician Odetta. Rounding out the show is a one-on-one with actor Warren Beatty, whose film Bonnie and Clyde is causing a sensation.

Expodition aired on CBC Radio every Monday to Friday throughout Expo 67's run. It was just one of many CBC Radio and Television programs that covered Expo and Canada's Centennial celebrations; others included Canada 100, Expo This Week and Centennial Diary.
• Canada will celebrate its sesquicentennial – 150 years since Confederation – in 2017. A group in Montreal has already proposed Expo 2017 to mark the sesquicentennial.
