The Sunday Edition follows CBC Radio's tradition of hosting a weekend newspaper of the air on Sunday mornings. The three-hour show is a mix of documentaries, interviews and music driven by host Michael Enright. Covering Canadian and international topics, it debuted in 2000. Each show starts with an essay from Enright on anything from to the use of Tasers by the RCMP to corporate welfare bums.
