The rules for retirement

Broadcast Date: Feb. 13, 1992

Put money away while you're earning it. Spend less than you make. Don't carry credit card debt. Make regular RRSP contributions. Focus long-term and invest conservatively. Don't rely on government pensions. Consolidate debt. Don't put off saving indefinitely.... In this CBC-TV clip from The Journal, four retirement savings experts offer an array of guiding principles that may ensure your financial future in your golden years. They emphasize buying RRSPs, and avoiding procrastination.
