• On her website, Gail Vaz-Oxlade calls herself a money maven. She has written 10 books on personal finance, including The RRSP Answer Book and hundreds of articles for the financial media. Vaz-Ozlade has also published a financial magazine for women and hosted two prime time TV shows. Her website also says she's written a couple of children's books, not yet published, and a novel.• David Chilton's advice doesn't focus squarely on money. As evidenced in is his bestselling book The Wealthy Barber, he focuses on gaining financial perspective, believing in yourself and overcoming your mistakes. His unique style and humour is on display in this 2009 clip from CBC-TV's The Hour.
• Merv Unger is the author of Today's Times, a B.C. newspaper for those nearing retirement. He has been a sports writer for the Winnipeg Free Press, a wrestling referee in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, a TV host and wrestling promoter. He hails from Winnipeg but resides in B.C., where he works as a business newspaper publisher.
