Pamela Wallin

It didn't take long for Pamela Wallin to bounce back after CBC Television ousted her from Prime Time News in 1995. That same year she launched her own production company, and her daily talk show – Pamela Wallin Live – was snapped up by CBC Newsworld. Debuting that fall, Wallin's easy conversation and sharp interviewing skills made the live nightly show a star in the network's lineup. Later shortened to Pamela Wallin, it was cut from an hour to 30 minutes in 2000, its last season.
