Canada's House of Commons has provided plenty of sizzling repartee over the years, and things are about to get even spicier. TV cameras are ready to begin broadcasting live pictures of proceedings in the House, and CBC Radio host Don Harron gets the insider's view from an "unnamed source." Given the new eye on Parliament, the source plans to nail a spice rack to his chair and conduct a "modest cooking school" from the front bench.Something's cooking in Parliament
• The "unnamed source" was CBC personality Max Ferguson doing his best John Diefenbaker impression. Ferguson was a longtime radio host with the network who often did comedy bits for his own programs and others.• The CBC cooking show Ferguson refers to is Bruno Gerussi's Celebrity Cooks, in which the star of The Beachcombers hosted Canadian and international figures demonstrating their favourite recipes.
